Röyksopp, déception

Il y a une semaine, j'ai découvert que la géniale chanson de Röyksopp "So Easy" est un gros pompage d'un obscur titre d'un groupe suédois tout aussi obscur appelé Gals and Pals. Moi qui les avais élevé au rang de génies, pour la si jolie mélodie de cette chanson, je suis dégoûté.

Si vous ne me croyez pas, écoutez la version originale, ça s'appelle "Blue on Blue" et à part le refrain c'est horriblement ringard.

Enfin, vu que je ne suis pas rancunier, un peu de promo pour leur prochain album. Il sort le 12 juillet 2005 chez Astralwerks et la pochette est très jolie. Check out Röyksopp's website for further information !

Hey Catalina, it's amazing, I just finished to download the upcoming Four tet album 2 days ago!

I didn't know that you were used to listen to stuffs like Röyksopp and Four Tet, we've never spoken about that before. For sure I'll go to the concert with you.

The first Four Tet song I heard was "Everything is alright", it was in 2003. The tiny guitar melody of the song caught my ears for quite a long time. From that time I try to follow each of his album. The new one is really great, I love "And then patterns" and "High fives".

Finally let me raise one objection to your opinion, the comparison with Röyksopp is not totally justified, 'cause Röyksopp is a bit more "disco" than Four Tet. One is for the head and the other for the brain. Do you agree Cat?
